WHAT IS ADULT BASIC EDUCATION?
The Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes are available to individuals who are 17 years of age or older and not enrolled or required to be enrolled in any school in the K-12 system. ABE classes offer students the opportunity to work on a GED or build basic skills in the areas of reading, math, or writing as they seek to further their education. English language learners can learn to speak and read English, or study for their U.S. Citizenship.
